1. Agreement and supplier
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and ClaimVela, the supplier brand that provides the ClaimVela software and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a law firm or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. What ClaimVela provides
ClaimVela provides personal-injury intake, prospective-client portal, workflow, evidence, collaboration, reporting, and AI-assisted review software. ClaimVela is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not form an attorney-client relationship with a prospective client, and does not decide whether a firm should represent anyone.
Your firm remains solely responsible for legal judgment, conflicts, deadlines, communications, supervision, professional conduct, representation decisions, and the accuracy of information used in a legal matter.
3. Accounts and authorized use
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You must protect credentials, use appropriate access roles, and promptly remove access for former personnel.
- You are responsible for activity under your organization account except to the extent caused by ClaimVela's breach of these Terms.
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.
4. Trials, subscriptions, and Paddle
ClaimVela Professional is currently offered at $299 USD per firm per month with a 14-day trial, unless checkout displays a different price, currency, tax, term, or promotion. There is no subscription charge during the trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically and the payment method collected at checkout is charged. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled.
Paddle is the merchant of record and seller of the transaction. Paddle collects payment, calculates applicable taxes, provides receipts, and handles transaction support under its buyer terms. The final amount, currency, taxes, and renewal details are shown before purchase. These Terms govern use of ClaimVela; Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the purchase transaction.
You may cancel through ClaimVela's billing portal, the manage link in a Paddle receipt, or Paddle buyer support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Customer data and instructions
As between you and ClaimVela, you retain your rights in information and content submitted to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant ClaimVela and its service providers a limited right to host, transmit, process, copy, display, and back up Customer Data solely to provide, protect, and support the Service and meet legal obligations.
You represent that you have the authority, notices, consents, and lawful professional purpose needed to process Customer Data. You are responsible for responding to privacy requests relating to your firm's intake records. Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices.
6. AI-assisted features
AI features may summarize supplied material, identify potential gaps or inconsistencies, and suggest follow-up. Outputs are generated from limited inputs, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not legal, medical, or financial advice. You must review outputs before relying on them or communicating them. You may not use the Service to make a fully automated representation decision or other decision with legal or similarly significant effect on a person.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the Service unlawfully or violate professional duties;
- submit content you do not have a right or lawful reason to process;
- probe, bypass, or disrupt authentication, security, rate limits, or tenant boundaries;
- introduce malware, scrape the Service, or access another customer's data;
- misrepresent AI output as verified fact or professional advice; or
- resell, reverse engineer, or copy the Service except where law expressly permits it.
8. Confidentiality and security
Each party will protect the other party's non-public confidential information using reasonable care and use it only for the agreement. Exceptions apply to information independently developed, lawfully received without restriction, publicly available without breach, or required to be disclosed by law. Security information is available on our Security page.
9. Ownership and feedback
ClaimVela and its licensors own the Service, software, design, documentation, and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms and payment, ClaimVela grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. If you provide feedback, ClaimVela may use it without restriction or obligation.
10. Availability, changes, and suspension
We may improve, modify, or discontinue features and may use reasonable limits to protect reliability and security. We may suspend access for nonpayment, unlawful use, material breach, or an urgent security risk. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. The Service may occasionally be unavailable and no specific uptime commitment applies unless stated in a signed agreement.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. Either party may terminate for an uncured material breach. Upon termination, access ends when the paid period expires unless immediate suspension is necessary. Provisions that by nature should survive—such as payment, ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CLAIMVELA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR LEGAL MATTER. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS ARE NOT LIMITED.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR LOST- PROFIT DAMAGES. CLAIMVELA'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer or local law requires otherwise. The courts with jurisdiction in Lebanon will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Service, subject to any non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere. Purchase and payment disputes may also be governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
15. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, and any signed order or agreement are the complete agreement for the Service. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. If a term is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. You may not assign the agreement without consent; ClaimVela may assign it in connection with a reorganization, financing, or sale of the business.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date and, when appropriate, communicated through the Service. Contact ClaimVela through the support channel in your account, order confirmation, or written agreement. For transaction support, use the manage link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support.
